| I and four out of my best experienced colleagues have formed
small group of western trained Russian physicians, Russian State
Medical University faculty members and Filatov Children's
Hospital attending pediatric specialists back in 1992. We were
invited by US Embassy at Moscow to join the panel of physicians
with the purpose to provide medical services required for
children who happened to be adopted by Americans if they apply
for immigrant visa. Later we started to examine children adopted
by foreigners other then Americans as well. We enjoy
partnership at the "Zdoroviye Detiyam", private clinic
affiliated to the Filatov Cildren's Hospital. Thank to this
great affiliation we are able, other then to perform general
physical examination, to offer great variety of different
diagnostic procedures including CT scan, endoscopy, sonography,
extensive lab work. Also we do associate with several
independent laboratories over the Moscow that capable enough to
do any kind of blood work and have been approved and certified
by US Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. The clinic is
located on the Garden Ring, right in downtown of Moscow, easy to
commute by both, public transportation and car, with the parking
lot located by the entrance to clinic.
Since 1992 we have examined over 40,000 Russian orphans and
social orphans (number no one can match) who were adopted by
foreigners. Thanks to this very experience we have developed
great deal of expertise in the field of intercountry adoption
medicine. |
